Rancho Library
The library is open from 8:30-3:00. In addition, we are open during the lunch recess every day except Wednesdays from 12:35-1:00 (after students have been excused from eating). Current lunchtime activities in our library include: returning or renewing books, looking at books, working on homework (if students bring their own supplies), talking quietly, and (for children in Grades 3-5 who are not up to their quota in library books) checking out books. We have 10 student computers, all of which have AR on them, so students can also take AR tests during this time. Students must obtain a library pass from the yard duty during this period and space is limited. The library technician, Mrs. Lazell, is here daily to help with your library needs. Your librarian, Ms. Rozen, is here on Thursdays to teach classes and keep the general running of the library up to date. Parents are also welcome in the library and may check out books.
